A handwoven straw bonnet which fits beautifully on any Hazel Village friend. It sits just behind the ears (or the eyes, if you are a toad) and ties securely under the chin with cotton twill tape strings. Finished with a hatband of dark brown grosgrain ribbon. Handmade by our artisan partners in Peru.

The twill tape strings actually stay tied, which I didn't expect on a doll hat this small. My daughter's bunny has worn it every day for a week and it hasn't slipped off once.
The straw is woven tight enough that it doesn't shed on my daughter's hands, which I was worried about. It sits behind the ears just like it's supposed to, and she's been putting it on her rabbit every morning before breakfast.
