This perfect little basket is handmade from traditional palm straw by our artisan friends in Peru. It's the perfect size for holding one of the animals' teeny dollies. Or some choice flower petals, tiny cookies to leave on a friend's doorstep, etcetera. The animals say you can never have too many baskets!
The palm straw is surprisingly sturdy for something so small, and it's held up through weeks of my son dragging it around the yard. He keeps his little fox's acorn collection in it, though it fits a tiny dolly just as well.
My daughter uses this tiny basket to carry her doll's flower petals around the house—the handmade palm straw feels sturdy and has a lovely natural texture.
The palm straw is woven tight enough that it hasn't shed a single fiber, even after weeks of my kid dragging it around the yard. It's just the right size for her little doll to ride in, and she's been collecting flower petals in it too.
