These stupendous shorts are embroidered with prairie flora that Rupert Bison admires on his rambles: rudbeckia, shining bluestar, and shenandoah switchgrass. Made from creamy yellow cotton with a brown scalloped waistband and light blue satin trim. Velcro back closure, tail hole. Handmade by our artisan partners in Colombia.
I bought these for my daughter's doll and the embroidery genuinely surprised me — you can pick out the little rudbeckia and bluestar without squinting. The fit is snug enough that they stay put during dress-up, which is more than I can say for most doll clothes.
The creamy yellow cotton is such a lovely shade, and the embroidery detailing is even prettier in person. These shorts fit my doll perfectly for spring dress-up.
