The shell buttons on the front placket are a sweet touch, and my daughter can actually manage them herself, which she loves. It's held up through mud, sand, and a few tumbles, and still looks nice enough for a lunch outing after a quick wash.
The gathered skirt gives her so much room to run around in, and the cap sleeves keep her cool while she digs in the dirt. Washed it three times already and the fabric still looks brand new.
