Those little shell buttons on the front placket are real, not painted plastic, and they actually undo so my daughter can dress the doll herself. The cap sleeves sit nicely and the blue hasn't faded after a few washes.
The gathered skirt has enough room for her to sit and stand without the fabric bunching up. The cap sleeves stay put during outdoor play, and the front placket makes it easy for small hands to manage. It's held up well after several washes, no loose threads.
The little shell buttons on the front placket are a lovely touch, way nicer than the velcro closures on most doll clothes. It's held up fine through a few rounds of outdoor play, and the gathered skirt still hangs nicely.
